  case study
Mr G wanted to find out what his new benefit entitlements would be as he'd just got a job. He'd previously been unemployed, and had received Income Support, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit. His new job would pay £12,250 p.a. Also his partner was going to be moving in and paying rent- she earned £9,000 p.a. Although not entitled to any benefits the CAB advised him to check with the Inland Revenue whether they were eligible for Working Tax Credit.
